Redneck Ron,
"Enough said" about what?  a few #'s?  Did your boy catch them all?
If you are gonna classify it as a report, include some details.  Water temp, wind, air temp, somewhat of a pattern that was working, rocks, docks etc... maybe some pics.

4 lbs and some ounces?  You mean you have something in the boat that works??  bwaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

super ron

Can't give you to many details as you already know Manawa like the back of your hand. And I want a fighting chance. Although I did tell Shane and he batted ZERO for today.

Water Temp was 60-63.  Wind was blowing 10-15 which tossed my little boat around some on the main body of the lake. I knew Manawa was shallow but was amazed at how shallow it is as far from the bank in some places.  Even my jons trolling motor was scraping bottom around the north point.

The first fish (4 11)was taken on a  watermelon beaver craw.  I only had a couple and didn't want to use them on before the tourney encase I couldn't get anymore of the same color.  So, I switched to a brush hog.  The brush hod only caught the dinks so I abandoned that hoping something else would catch larger fish.  I then went with a red shad tiki worm. That caught the 4 14.  I don't really want to tell you where.  That has to wait until the 4th (Tourneys on the 3rd). HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

I did however, hook another probably just as big on a black shad culprit worm. But he/she/it threw it.

Wish I had my wifes digital camera but she went on a trip and I thought she took it.  I now see it in front of me.
The something in my boat that works was me as my son was in school.

If the weather holds up, I will be there Monday to try more different locations and I will take pictures this time.  But since my son will be with me I am sure all the pictures will be of his fish.

And yes, I am a redneck.  Just look at the duct tape on my car and you can see that.

Redneck and proud.  Ron

"Git-R-Done"
that was pretty good R. Ron, much better than posting 7 dinks and a couple 4's

I don't believe him [two keepers] (or you-J) at all; there are only two keepers in all of Manawa, and if Super Ron caught them this week, they may have lock-jaw for a while.  I do know it is very shallow, less than 7' all over.  Heck, Ron, there are places NOT near the bank that your trolling mtor can hang up on. Water temp sounds right, but will take a dive after this week.

Now for the only advice I can muster about Manawa: White, double willow-blade, spinnerbait with a touch of blue in the skirt.

Ron, don't let them guys get you down, just beat 'em once and the ribbing will stop.

BT, that could be why you don't catch that many fish at Manawa.  There, do you feel better now?

~SM  Where are you at?????

Bassthumb

Yea Yea Yea.  Careful now. BT does alright.

Ron, if you get a chance during the day on Wed, idle by old Jav.  Regardless of what he says, he will have a white-n-blue spinner tied on and will have thrown it at least once.

Now Skippy won't.  He is too old and stubborn to learn new tricks.  (But he will throw them homemade buzzbaits and beat the banks (and canals) with the jig.

Ron, if you still have my email, drop me a line and I will tell you more on how to beat these jamokes on Man-o-wa.

In case anyone was wondering what the  ^-^ jamoke meant.

jamoke
Slang, insult; i.e. That "jamoke" down the street knows nothing. Also slang for penis. (pronounced JAH-MOHK)

This started out as a simple fishing report and it has turned into another one upsmanship.

When you 2 ~lu get done brainstorming, be sure to post and fill us jamokes in
