Jordan Lee wins with 47-01

Since we ALL went over,  I say let's consider ourselves losers and keep our baits for next year when hopefully we can all do better!!!   ::)
How about everyone who entered this send Mike a email..and let him randomly pic a winner thru number generator. Winner gets all

Look Guys, not many contests give the money back if no one wins.  I suggest that we put our bets to work and send them to someone who will use them for a youth fishing program.  Many of us are aware that Analfisherman conducts an outing each year for the kids in his area.  As  I recall this includes giving them some baits to use etc. and folks like Analfisherman show them how to fish and use the baits.  A program that like that would be a good target for our lost bets.  Lets use this opportunity to pay it forward or pay up as it were.  If there are another programs like this one around the country then you should feel free to nominate them as well.  JMHO  I certainly would like some feedback from the betting group about doing this.

You know folks.........THAT IS EXTREMELY GENEROUS......and yes I won like two years ago and ya, all the won baits went to the kids from the Big Brother Tourney we do every year........PLUS THE TONS OF BAITS THAT EVERYONE THRU IN EXTRA!!!!!!!!  :shocking:

BUT IT WOULD BE TOTALLY UNFAIR FOR SOMEONE WHO DIDN'T EVEN PARTICIPATE TO GET ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was going to play.......I will gamble on anything ;) lo.........but I kept putting it off.....and putting it off........cause you know I HAVE TO RESEARCH EVERYTHING.......and I didn't get it done.....HELL, I even started the research WED.  .........but didn't get it done....next thing I knew.....it's SAT. Morning........and they are launching off.

SO I PRETTY MUCH HAVE TO TECHNICALLY DECLINE.......there are folks who don't even know me because of being new........and even more who DO KNOW ME.......but totally regret it!!!!!! ;) ;D

You folks are so very KIND AND GENEROUS.......it brings tears to my eyes!!!

But again, it in NO WAY would it be fair for the CONTESTANTS who took the time to research and make an educated guess on the results!!!!!!!

Bud and EVERYONE.....thanks for the thought......and YOU ALL WILL BE IN MY PRAYERS TONIGHT!!

I made the command decision to just have everyone hold their baits since we all went over and lost.  Never did I think the weights would be so low.  Local tourneys were catching 20 lb sacks!

So all wagered baits belong to those who entered to do what ever they decide to do with them.

If there is a youth program that needs tackle donations,  please post up on the main page.  We are a generous crew and I know many would send some baits.  Just start a new thread to put it out there.

Thanks all for playing.  Someone should have low balled a guess!   ~b~

Here's something that might be worth looking into. Seems fitting since it's LA.

analfisherman

Nats, I wish to thank you!

And I would like to THANK YOU PUBLICLY FOR IT.

So everyone is aware what a GREAT GENEROUS PERSON YOU AND YOUR FAMILY ARE........
Nats back in early Feb. PMed me and asked about this years Tourney/Outting.

He asked for my address......and sent the kids a great selection of baits.....
PLUS A BRAND NEW IN THE BOX SPINNING REEL!  :shocking: :o

In the selection of baits he even INCLUDED some custom plastics.....MADE IN LACROSSE, WI.
and that's where we now run the Big Brother/Sister outting,
These are not your normal plastics......one pack called 'Lethal Experience 5'......it's a 'Wacky Worm Pour' that actually has quarter inch Marabou Hair strips coming out of each end of the worm.
Not like on a Jig but just two-three individual hairs.
VERY UNIQUE CONCEPT!  :)

It was a very big surprise!!!!!!!
I'm not real good at 'asking' for things.......when I won the Classic bid and a Tips contest one year......somewhere some how......I must of shared in a PM with one of our GREAT MEMBERS what the intentions of using the bounty for.
That person went public with it.......AND THE MEMBERSHIP WENT TO WORK.....THEY DONATED A SMALL FORTUNE IN BAITS!!!!  :shocking:

For those that want to know what this party/outting is all about......and the GENERPSITY OF THE MEMBERSHIP.....and what Nats is talking about......here's a thread from the 2016 outting....can't locate the 2017 update........took me like an hour to find this one!!!!! >:D ~roflmao
This is no small take a kid fishing deal........our intentions are to help a kid 'FALL IN LOVE WITH FISHING' ALONG WITH THE JOY OF THE OUTDOORS!

And we have had good results......."got three calls this month from past participants.....with questions on fishing and the outdoors"........and of course....when this years outting was going to be.  ;D

So here's the link.

I am glad that you guys brought this up.  I have seen guys giving the opportunity to donate in the past but have been racking my brain trying to figure who one of them was.  Now I know.

Mr. Anal Sir,  you have a PM.

Has anyone decided what we are going to do.  I am good with whatever is decided upon.

We can keep them,  consider the lowest weight as the winner, or donate them.

It was decided here as far as I am concerned. jocko started this thread and made the final decision.

Doesn't mean those who want to give them to whoever or what ever cause cant do so. They are your baits do as you please. But as far as this contest goes there was no winner based on the OP response.

Smallie_Stalker

Based on Jocko's ruling I already gave away the 2 crankbaits I wagered.

I think as the one who started the contest we need to let Jocko's ruling stand. But that doesn't mean anyone who wants to can't donate wherever they would like.  :-*

I agree.  Jocko ruling should stand.  I am just not quite sure exactly how I missed his post.  Maybe I should learn to read sometime before I retire....

You were busy having all that fun down at the Classic. I'd say that was worth missing a post or two for.
