I went to crank it sunday and found as Im filling the tank it pours out the cover.. upon investigating i found a crack on the tank. No biggue. New one in the mail. This engine is super clean with the cover off...no dirt or spiders or anything... i mean clean!

That's awesome. Those Tohatsu's are hard to beat. Growing up we had an old Suzuki 2 hp motor that we used to rat the bayous with. One exactly like this one (best picture I could find)

Had it on a 12 aluminum flat bottom boat. That motor was still running well into my late 20's. Unfortunately someone broke into my grandmothers barn and stole it. The guy sold it for drugs. We caught the guy but never saw the motor again. Now I wanna see if I can find one on eBay.

They were so easy to maintain. This one should be no different. Have fun!

Oh yea.. new tank arrived yesterday and 5 minutes later it was on the motor. Just waitin on my numbers to come in and Im gona start hittin the lakes round here.
