Anybody fish Prettyboy this late in Season?

It looks like I am timing out on using my reservoir boat this Season but I have a Friend with a nicer boat and Liberty/Prettyboy sticker. I have been doing a lot of work to it and we would like to try it on Prettyboy once before the water gets hard.
Reason I am asking is I haven't fished Liberty or Prettyboy from a boat in a LONG time. Looking for any help in at least catching one fish before the Season ends. Any help greatly appreciated.

Hey Kris,
3 to 4 weeks ago I would have told you yes. The fishing was fantastic on Pboy. The lake hit that "turnover" phase and the fish have had lockjaw since. I'm not saying you won't catch one here or there but for the most part dinks and maybe a 2 or 3 pounder. I can't speak for Liberty but I can only assume the same. Better to keep fishing for those stripers on the bay!

Thanks for the input GH. I will probably try to fish PB this coming week sometime to test out my Friend's boat that I have been working on. Once that is out of the way he will taking the batteries out for the Winter, all ten of them. Glad mine only has 4. I will probably concentrate on the points and any blowdowns they have up there.
Nothing beats a try like a failure.

Usually when turnover hits, it throws the fishing off for a few weeks. Prettyboy being the farthest north reservoir in Md., it probably is affected by the turnover more so than the other reservoirs.

Thanks for the response RR. I haven't PB or Liberty for many years from a boat. I have fished Liberty from shore a couple of times.
Does anyone know when the cutoff to fish PB and Liberty is this year?

Kris- I thinks it's December 31st- you can Google Liberty or Prettyboy, it should list the seasonal closing date. I only fished Liberty a couple of times from shore and once at Prettyboy- they have a lot more shore access that the WSSC reservoirs.
