If you have love bugs or really any other kinda bug that has met your windshield, bumper or boat and need to get them off, get a couple of dryer sheets, get them wet and rub them on the surface to be cleaned.  The bugs will come off pretty easily as long as they haven't been on for too long.

Interesting tip, I got to check this one out. Thanks for sharing Nutt.

We don't normally have love bugs too bad here in North Louisiana, but this past summer reminded me of being a kid when Dad was stationed at Patrick AFB in central Fl.

Anyway, me and the grandkids lined up mother's black car, my red truck and my daughters white car to wash then.

Mother's car was a bear but we got through it, being black it seemed clean but the front bumper and grill was still speckled. My truck was even harder because the red highlights the love bug splats. We were wore out and about to pass on the love bug scrub down on my daughters white car. We'd attack it the next day. She had seen on her Facebook that a dryer sheet would work. So she grabbed a new dryer sheet, dunked it in the soap pale and OMG, me and the grandkids stood there with our mouths open, one even tossed his rag in the air and walked off. The dryer sheet was taking them off with a simple back and forth wiping. She was using little pressure because didn't know if it would hurt the paint, which it didn't. She effectively reduced a 1.5 hour scrubbing to just minutes.

It works. Thanks for posting Nutt

They say dryer sheets also repel rodents.
