Best wife in the world!

We had our house re-shingled yesterday.  I was stuck at home waiting for a FedEx delivery.  A front was coming through, with pretty high winds, btw.
The roofers finished about 3 p.m.  I walked out to inspect and found that an old shingle had blown off the house and made a hold in my boat cover. 
No problem, it was getting old and a little rotten anyway.  They offered to pay for a new one, but I declined because I had already planned to get one.
Anyway, rain was predicted, so I called Bass Pro, had the guy set one aside for me.  They I called my wife, who works fairly near them.  She gets off work at about 5 to 6.
I had to be at work at 6:00, so not time for me to go get the cover. 
She picked it up on the way home, went out in the cold wind and spitting rain, took the old cover off and put the new one on for me, after dark. 
As a reward, I'm going to let her sleep with me tonight...

I have a wonderful wife but she would have said that I fish in the rain so it didn't need covered.

Might cooked dinner tonight but only after I promised to let her ride my new zero turn mower. She'll brake it I'm sure

My wife would have installed it! She say its her boat!  I just get to use it with her!. I do not mind.
After all she told me it was time to buy it!  

True story, I went to work the next day and told my co-workers "My wife says I have to buy a new Bass boat."  Of course I said it with a smile on my face. This is our 11th one in well ... decades.

Some of us are truly blessed.
