I've registered to fish the two day BFL on Okechobee as a coangler in September, but I was waitlisted.  Does anybody know what the likelihood of getting off the waitlist and into the tournament is?  If I don't get in I'll still be down there anyway as I prepaid for the hotel and it is non refundable.  Maybe if I don't get in someone will have room on the back of their boat.

The big O is a hard one as it draws quite a crowd. But late in the season there might be quite a few that drop out because they can't make the points to advance. It really depends how far down the list you are.

Another option, is find a boater that isn't linked. If you sign up with a boater, your status changes. However the boating field could be full too.
