On my previous SV thread I mentioned how with LMG'S help and guidance the opportunity presented itself to make some additional upgrades to this reel.

1. I changed from an aluminum handle to a 90 mm Carbon fiber reel handle. 2. LMG hooked me up with a matching Zion star drag, 3. He was able to find me larger knobs that I was really looking for, and lastly 4. I was skeptical at first but the man (LMG) was correct. We shaved additional weight off the outfit.  I can proudly say that my ultimate frogging LSCR outfit is officially complete. LMG... thanks again for your help brother.

Looks great Lou! The knobs do look a bit thicker and wider. The fact that it is lighter is awesome.

I am curious what the reel actually weighs now after your mods.

Rick, the Zion drag star weighs about 1/3 of the factory one. The handle is about the same, 1/3 the weight. Really makes a huge difference in the overall feel of the setup.

The purple is no biggie, but you got to try this reel out before you get the LSCR, its a tough, but nicely refined reel.

Sweet setup! My SV103 is my spinnerbait reel. I put a CF handle on that one as well. Love that reel.

@Cojab, I have been using CF reel handles for several years now and I very much prefer them over stock handles. If you ever get the chance to try one, I highly recommend them.

I've heard you mention that before.
Now don't get me wrong cause I'm not doubting you a bit, but they just don't look like they would be comfortable and you would think they would be slippery.
That's why I want to try them. One of those things that your kind of suspicious of and after you try it your blown away.

Now to get back on subject, that reel looks killer! LMG did you good.
