OK, another new find I ran across.

The PDL Rig from Longas Baits.
It's a Swim Bait that has two stiff mono wires (some say it's Flourocarbon) attached above the Swimbait Jig Head with screw lock keepers attached to them.
Has Owner Cutting Point Hook on Jig Head.
I think the company is from Spain but the Lure itself is being handled by a few US retailers now.
They come in a 1/2 oz. and a 3/4 oz. jighead, with or with out attached plastics.

My thoughts;
Likes/Pros:

1)   guess a good concept
2)   light enough to cast and use on standard equipment, (probably best with a Heavy Power Med Fast action Rod, thinking in the 7'3'-7'6" range...(maybe could get away with a Med.Heavy depending on Rod Manufacturer)
3)   can be used anywhere and any Tournament regulations
4)   can be used with anglers choice of favorite Swim Bait plastics for teasers and main bait.

Dislikes/Cons

1)   Once again cost
      $8.99 without plastics
      $15.99 w/plastics (found it at $14.99)
2)   Availability
3)   I'm not a big fan of bait ball and multi-rigged baits

It's not something that I'll be getting.....maybe if/after I find someone blowing them out or running a sharply discounted price......but even then, I really don't fish waters that I see them as an ASSET to my fishing style.

So Anglers/Pro Staff........what are your thoughts and is it something that FITS your style of fishing and waters you fish?

Stumbled on this description...

After many months of testing, Longas Baits is proud to present their new PDL Rig. This innovative new rig features a 5" swimbait with two smaller 2" swimbaits attached via clear flexible fluorocarbon wires to give the realistic impression of schooling minnows.

The PDL Rig is very versatile and easy to use. This new design mimics the popular A-rigs but is legal in most fishing tournaments where Umbrella/A-rigs are not!

Longas Fishing's philosophy is to move away from industrial processes and instead focus on quality hand-crafted products. The design and development of their lures is based on their own experiences in the world of competitive fishing. All designs are thoroughly tested before final manufacture, and all products are handmade and hand-painted with great care and dedication. 100% made in Spain.

Thanks for the heads up on this lure. I was kind of working towards something similar when I added a double spinner to my swimbaits for use with schooling bass on the St. Johns River. I also added a treble stinger hook for increasing hookup percentage.

This is what I added to my swimbait and have caught some fish on it:

Power of the pen is sharper than any sword! Make it so! Mom said don't surround yourself with idiots! Fly higher than the Eagles... and don't run with the turkeys! Deus Vult!

Looks like another 'Schooling Bait'.  I don't think I'll be buying any of those.  I still haven't bought any A-Rigs yet.

Tks for sharing the video with us.
