After Anal's post a few days ago, I purchased some Tsuyoi Wacky Hooks.  The following photo shows the extent of the snell in the hook as well as the weed guards.  I used this angle mostly to show the hook shape.  The week guards are hand tied to the hook and consist of 4 strands of standard weed guard material.  You can bend and orient anyway you need.  In this photo I just bent them into shape so the hook would display for the picture.

Can't really comment on anything else since I have not had them in action yet but I am not really keen on the weed guards but time will tell.  anyway here is a photo of the hook for your viewing pleasure.

Bud, what size you get?
Any chance you can put like a penny next to one.....THANKS for the SHARE!

Oh and I have used the Gamakatsu Wicked Wacky Hook for years and I use them ALWAYS, even when I don't have weeds......never had any 'real' challenges due to the weed guards.......I wouldn't even know they were on........tell you where they MADE a HUGE benefit though, when I'm tossing 'wackys' into lay downs and branches.

I've been following the threads on these new wacky hooks. I used the Trokar wacky weedless hooks for quite a while.. My issue with them was they weren't that weedless. Once I discovered the Gamakatsu Wicked Wacky hooks I switched and I immediately saw better hookups. The Wicked Wacky's weedless properties are great and like you I can fish laydowns and cover without snags. With them I seldom miss a fish once he's committed.

I'm interested in hearing some reviews on these Tsuyoi hooks... Dang that's a tough name to type.  lo
