A good and cheap sandwich spread;
1. 3 or 5 lb hunk of bologna run through a meat grinder
2. mayo, mayo and mustard, whatever you like to holding it together
3. diced onion, if you like dill or sweet pickle relish, celery chopped fine whatever you wish
4. season to your taste
5. make sandwiches and freeze what's left
Works fantastic with smoked poultry, pork or beef.

I have done it for years, we just used ham or bologna ground up, mayo and sweet relish. carry in a container on the boat chilled make sandwiches on the water, always hated keeping them made up in the cooler, one side is dry the other side is soggy.
retired! now there is more time to fish!

Sounds good Rodney and BassSacker I didn't like them sandwichs that have a soggy and dry bread.

Sounds like a good change to bologna and cheese sandwich's.  Don't get me wrong, I like a fresh bologna sandwich but agree with others I don't like one made up several hours ahead of time.

Enjoying retirement in the great Pacific Northwest.  I've turned into a fair weather angler.  Why do it today when I can do it tomorrow?

Great recipe, Rodney!  ~c~

I've never thought of using balogna, although I have just about done everything else under the sun, including hard boiled eggs and tuna.  After he discovered the food processor, Dad used to grind it down to a pate so it would spread easily on crackers.  If you add your favorite pepper or hot sauce to the mix, you now have it deviled.

Thanks for sharing.
