When I fished braid on my spinning gear, 15-20lb Power Pro did the trick just fine.

Depends on the size of your spinning reel. But I would go with 15-20 like Lou for the most part.

similar.  vary between 8 and 6# flouro leader.  Like 6# for how it impacts action and what I want to do for dropshots.  Plus, flouro, with abrasion resistance helps in the tougher situations.

add a more soft action on spinning rods, drag set a little lighter and typically smaller guage hooks...hard to lose fish.

I've used Fireline and Power Pro, good results with both but I want try Nanofil to see if I can get longer casts with the real light baits. Except for dropshot I use 15lb braid.

I use 10lb Power pro, no leader.  SO far so good, but have only taken it out once

Fireline and Nano-Fil.

Fireline: 6 lb test (2 lb mono diameter) on my ultralight rods for panfishing. 6, 10 or 14 lb test on bassing rods depending on application and cover. Fireline cuts the green stuff better than Nano-Fil in my opinion so it always gets the nod when there is green involved unless i only have one spinning rod with me.

Nano-Fil : 6 -12 lb test for bassing depending on application and cover /structure. I seem to get some extra distance out of Nano-Fil so I go to this particularly for techniques where I am making a long cast.

Braid that is 10 lbs or less is like working with sewing thread. Bu it works although I prefer 30 lbs as I use it to skip under and into bushes and trees and I need a bit more power so it won't break.

That is easy, after testing a bunch of different mono, copoly and braid the line that plays the best for my wife and I is Berkley original FireLine in 14 pound test. I spool the reel half way with quality mono, usually Stren clear blue in 14 pound test.  I fish places that I often get bit by big cats and stripers so the better line makes sense. Next I spool the reel with 14 pound test FireLine. This line is the same size as 6# quality mono.  If you have laid the backing on nice tight and smooth the braid goes on the same way.  Most of the time I tie on a 4 foot leader made up of P Line CXX 10 pound in moss green. That system works great in deep clear lakes in Tennessee and Kentucky, as well as back here on the tidal Chesapeake Bay tributaries.

I have moved all most all of my spinning equipment over to 24lb. Gliss.   Incredibly thin, cast great and has amazing strength to dia.   I do use a FC leader depending on the style of fishing that I am doing.

Tuf-line Supercast. Great for spinning reels

Im using 10lb to a 7-10lb FC leader on mine. Spinning for me is drop shot, hair jig type activity. No jerkbaits or anything like that.
