193 CX console

I wanted to get some oppions on trimming my consloe. I'm not a tall guy at all, but my 193 CX is a pain in the rear to get in the drivers seat. I was thinking of maybe trimming the side of the console to make it easier to access the drivers seat. I'm not talking about cutting the whole side out, just a few inches in the knee and foot area. Would that jepordize the structural integrity of the console?

No it will be fine. Just pay attention to air and water flow (should it be raining). Don't want to take so much that you allow a whirl wind to suck water back under the console when driving in the rain.

Also watch for wires, not sure how much you'll remove and can't remember if that model has a light on the side?
