When I load the boat for a day of bassing I pack the compartments full, which leads to a lot of time searching for the right baits.
But I have a small bag I leave on the deck with all my go to baits and some that I feel would work on the lake I am on. It saves precious fishing time.
I learned this from bank fishing.

When fishing by myself it's easy.  In the aluminum boat I can carry eight rods already rigged with what I think will work today.  I carry about nine of my Plano 3600 boxes with me.  Normally they are other colors or size of the same lures already tied.  I have been forcing myself lately to use jerkbaits, crankbaits and top waters first in the morning and then go to soft plastics if not doing well.  TR soft plastics have always been my go to.

Yep, a great idea.  This will allow me to cull some serious weight from the boat while making my plastics more manageable.  Thanks for sharing!
