Here is a nice fish taken by a friend tonight while we were out fishing in Minden..

This could be a lake record..  cannot confirm as of yet.. because no official records are kept..  but after talking to the lake ranger as well as a local biologist with the LDWF they said they biggest they have seen or heard of was 8lbs..  It was caught in about 2 foot of water off of a watermelon red fluke.

We did not have any camera out on the lake..  He wanted it to live, so we contacted Bass Pro to see if they would take it in their tank..  They wanted it, but their quarantine tanks wouldnt have been ready until the weekend..  if it was a record they could do an emergency tank..   Well we could not confirm the record..   So.. she will be going on the wall..

That is a really nice fish, i fished that lake a couple of weeks ago. Take a look at my pic and see what i got,  comapred to yours i got bait. Anyway how is the water over there? i'd like to go back soon. Nice fish and it'll look great on the wall.
