Guys and Gals, I'm one of the worst about believing in a product. Especially one that claims seem outrageous and there is a price tag that goes with the outrageous claims. I hate wasting money.

Well back during the 2016 Ultimate Bass Club Shootout, Laurie won a RTIC stainless steel tumbler. This is a knock off of the Yeti Tumbler. Over the next couple months I watched in disbelief as this tumbler kept her drinks cold even in 100 degree weather. She would leave her tumbler on the counter over night and the ice in it didn't appear to have melted. It was amazing.

Last month Laurie bought me one and I'm still floored at how long it will keep ice. It truly blows me away.

I have run into a problem though. Everyone around me has one and it's hard to keep track of who's who? But here's the fix....

Monster Fishing Tackle is selling these same tumblers $10 cheaper than you can find them anywhere else and they come with the Monster Fishing Tackle Logo on them. Now you can have the best device in the world for keeping a drink cold and it will be identifiably yours. AND you will get it for less money than any of your buddies.

If you don't already have one or need another for the boat, truck or spouse, this will be the best $17.99 you'll ever spend.

Thanks for the endorsement Mike. We aren't going to say this isn't a response to other popular brands, it completely is. However, when the opportunity came to work with a factory that already had experience with stainless steel drinkware, we decided to jump on it.

To distinguish our product, we've made the spash-proof lid standard to all of our Monster Mug Tumblers and with that in place, we can confidently say the ice retention has increased for cold drinks. When it comes to hot drinks such as coffee, you'll be able to eliminate the splashing we've experienced with open style lids. Bumps in the road while driving don't require a quick hand over the lid to stop the damage.

Our customers have responded very well to the Monster Mugs and we look forward to more reviews as owners put them to work.

I also won an RTIC mug from the UBCS and have had it with me most every day since.  Truth be told the very 1st thing I did when I got home was to go out and buy a Yeti mug for D to do a side by side comparison of the two.

So far the three things I've noticed were that mine "the RTIC" is just a tad wider on the top and bottom rim and the Yeti was just a tad taller.  I'm talking like 1/8 of an inch or less in height and width between the two.  The RTIC lid looks that same as the Yeti but is way easier to put on and take of.  The Yeti I have to about pry off and push on where as the RTIC just pops off and slides into place.  It's "the RTIC" never spilled or come off when tipped over but I liked how much more firm the Yeti lid fit so I bought one at Academy and use it now.

The last thing is they both just flat out work.  Put ice and water in it or ice and a cold drink in it and it will be cold all day and will most likely have ice in it the next morning.  I use mine fishing and fill it with ice in the morning and refill drinks throughout the day,,,, the only time I have to add ice is if I add a warm water or soda to the cup.

I've tested them both outside, filled with ice and tap water set out in the morning and checked that night and both were just as cold and had the same amount of ice left.  I've tested them inside with ice and tap water left all day the looked that same, checked them again the next morning and both looked the same, dumped out all the water and the amount of ice left in each were very very close,,,, I'd challenge anyone to be able to tell them apart.

The last little thing I do on mine is put some rubber bands on it this is twofold for me,,,1st I have 4 of them on mine 3 blue and a red so I can tell from across the room that's my cup and the added bonus is the grip.  I've seen a few $40.00 mugs with dents in them  ~roflmao with the rubber bands I have less of a chance of the mug slipping out of my hand LOL

While in MN on vacation my family liked our mugs and kept trying to claim them,,, didn't care if it was the RTIC or Yeti they kept walking off  ~roflmao  pointed them to Monster and told them to order some with a cool bass on it and have one for their very own,,,,, they still might but I think they are holding out for a walleye or more then likely for me and D to send them some for Christmas  ;D

I think RTIC hit the sales pitch on the head with the saying 1/2 the price still holds the ice and it's awesome to see a great company like Monster pair up with them to bring out a Monster logo mug that works and is at a great price!

Well Done Steve & MFT!!  ~c~

Hey Ron -

Thank you for the kind words and for sending your family members our way.

Just want to be clarify, these are not RTIC or Yeti tumblers, they are our own that we had manufactured ourselves.

LgMouthGambler - according to the factory it is "industrial heat transfer printing" - that said, we've scratched a few up when we really tried.

I will say this, it hurts like hell when you lose a real Yeti!  I left mine in a golf cart.  I now have a Ozark Trails one and can't tell any difference from the Yeti I lost.
I will now order one of these because of the cool picture.  And to support our advertisers.
Looking forward to the lid too!

I've considered them, but I was skeptical about them.  I'm a lot like Mike.  I've seen many products with unbelievable claims and costs to match.
Based on Mikes Endorsement, maybe I'll have to look into them.  Engel has some as well but I haven't been able to talk the rep. into a sample.

Guys I know this thread is a bit old but I just placed an order with Monster. Of course I threw in one of these tumblers.
Just wanted to give a heads up that these are now priced at just $9.99. You cant beat that.
Well, I guess you can get an Ozark Trail one from WalMart for $8.00 but it wont have a Monster Fishing logo on it which is well worth it to me! Plus remember free shipping for UB members.

GET ONE NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a few of those.. they don't hold up to these style cups.

I got a Yeti for my bday last year and it has been amazing. I use it everyday at work and when fishing.

It will hold ice several days while sitting out in the heat of FL.

I used to leave it in my work car overnight and poured out the ice from the previous day at 545 am the next morning.. they are great.

DonM

Didn't need 'em, but ordered two anyway.  One for boat, one for golf cart I guess.  I'll use my Ozark Trails for back-up!  :)
