My 06 Puma with only 88 hours on it went into the shop for a going over. I've got a great Basscat dealer in Marty's Marine at LOZ.

Just a 100hr check up or did you have an issue?

Wizard, I thought you were gonna sell the Kitty this spring.  So whats up with the potential sale?

Wizard

My sister got stage 4 cancer and I have been spending as much time with her as possible. The boat has been sitting on a hoist as I tried to recover from a terribly gone wrong hip surgery. I'm having the boat gone over bow to stern, doing maintenance and fixing any issues that arise. The trailer is also getting new tires, winch strap, bearing grease, etc..  Whether I keep it will be determined after it is returned to the hoist. If I can fish safely, I keep it. If not, it goes to a new home in great shape. Not s mark on the inside or hull and extremely loaded.

Sorry to hear about your sister and your ongoing medical issues.  Hopefully you will be able to use the kitty for a bit longer.  I am sure folks are lined up to buy it if you decided it has to go.

That cat will be ready to go when you are.  Prayers for you and your family and wishing you a speedy recovery

Thanks, guys.  Sis only has a month or 2 left and is spending it doing things she enjoys. She is the rock of our family and a much, much better person than I have been at times. Folks are lined up for this boat and the first in line is a UB member if I sell it. If I can get onto the front deck, Rick Pierce of BassCat boats will make me a rough water semi bucket seat for the front deck to hold me in place. I've been fortunate to make many friends in the fishing/boating industry. I know we all have to stop fishing at some point. I'm just not ready yet.

Lipripper

Wizard I haven't been fishing yet this year either. I'm still recovering from my chemo and radiation treatments. I'm not ready to give up fishing either and will get out as soon as I get my strength back and it cools off a little. ~sweat

Sorry to hear about your sister Wizard, hope it's 15 or 20 years before you have to think about hanging it up.
