Saturday June 04 - Monday June 06 are free fishing days in MA this year. No license needed but be aware that all other state regulations apply.

This is the perfect opportunity to get that buddy , neighbor, friend at work or whoever who has been on the fence about the cost of a license out on the water. You never know, it might just be the tipping point that ignites the same passion in them that you already know and love. You may even come out of it with a new lifelong fishing partner. Of course if they enjoy it that much it just may mean another new member to the ranks of UB too.
