Has anyone used or installed them, they look nice just wanting some input. What are the pros and cons

I have RodWrap grips on some of my rods. Basically the same I think. I like them as they do improve the grip & particularly if the handle gets wet. Helps keep the handle cleaner too. Down side is the tape that secures the wrap will sometimes start to come loose. Don't know if that's the case with those golf club wraps or not. Similar stuff to tennis racket grips too.

I've also seen large heat shrink tubing used for covering rod grips, and have considered giving some a try for saltwater rods I have, but haven't done it yet..  :)

My LSCR has a Winn Grip and it is fantastic.  Very comfortable and is not slippery when wet.  Would certainly want one on my next LSCR

After checking the Winn site a bit more, what I have is not the same. RodWrap goes over the existing grip, like the wraps on a golf club shaft or tennis racket, but looks like Winn is making the entire grip. I guess they would be great for builders & new rods, but not sure about what could be done with an older rod.

It appears they do make an over wrap, but also looks like it's one size that you would have to cut for each application.

Kistler has the Winn grips on their new Mag2 rods and they are awesome! I have 4 Mag2 rods and two more on the way. If you can get a sleeve for your rod I would do it!1 They are very comfortable and have a great grip in wet weather. I am impressed with them!!

I wanted a little larger grip so I did the Winn grip.  I am surprised how well it has held up so far.  They are very comfortable.
