Recarpet TV-18

I'm fixing to recarpet a 2006 Tracker Tournament V-18. The hinges are spot welded to the lids and the carpet wraps around the hinges. The flexing along the hinge has led to the carpet coming apart on most of the lids. Any advice on 16 vs 20 oz carpet?  The color appears to be a taupe (brownish grey). Any advice on where to find a close color match? I would like to avoid recarpeing the verticle surfaces and around the cockpit seats. Any suggestions greatly apprecieated.

I have the same boat. I called Tracker headquarters and asked what color the carpet is, and they said it is Bronze.  I'm thinking of re-ding mine, and will be leaving the sides alone I think, as they still look new "boat has spent 6 days outside its entire life"
