Easy Jig size identification

If you're like me, you probably carry enough stock of your favorite jigs so that you never have to worry about running out when the fish are biting.  I have one particular model and color that is my absolute favorite, and I make sure that I buy that model and color in different weight sizes since weight can be critical at times.  My problem is, my two favorite weights of this jig look almost identical to the naked eye (5/16 and 7/16).  To try to "feel" the weight difference when you're talking fractions of ounces is impossible. 

So what I do is I take pearl colored nail polish and paint small eyes on all of the 7/16 oz jig heads.  Then identifying weights is easy.  No eyeballs is 5/16, and pearl eyeballs is 7/16.  I haven't done it, but I'm sure you could use different colors to signify other weights as well (black could be 1/2 oz, etc.).  The same rule can apply to other favorite jigs as well.

I didn't want to clutter up the tip part of the post, so I'm putting this at the bottom:  I can recall more than one occasion in the past where I was throwing this jig in the same color as my partner, and he was whoopin' me.  I asked what weight, and he said 7/16.  I dug through my jigs and tied on what I thought was the same thing, and still got whooped.  But after a long examination of his jig vs mine, I realized I was throwing the 5/16.  Once I got the ever so slightly heavier jig on, I started whacking them.  It was times like that when I realized marking my box compartments with weights wasn't good enough (stuff always gets mixed up), and I needed a better method for quick weight I.D.

I have just been marking my boxes but I see the shortcomings in that method.
