Need help to replace old minn kota 3fwd/2rev speed switch

I have a old 2rev/3frd switch that can't be found nor has a replacement. This is what it looks like.

I cut it open two years ago and cleaned the contacts, but it shot now.  There is no speed control board.  Must be in the motor for the 3 speed wires connected to the switch.

Does any know how to wire up two switches?  One for fwd/rev and another for speed.

I would even do a toggle for two speed. however I don't know the type of speed switch and how to wire it up to a rev/fwd toggle switch

I remember working on one of those back in the late 80s early 90s. Used it on a small Jon boat. I don't have a whole lot to offer except to ask are there any names, numbers, etc. on the switch itself. There's a chance it could be available out there somewhere.

There's a chance that you could open the switch and repair it.

I would be tempted to check craigslist for a used tm, same make and type, you might be able to cannibalize for parts or use at cheap price.

I had an older 35W 12/24v MK TM that needed a part.  Ended up getting a identical unit on Craigslist that was complete but the upper plastic housing was destroyed.  Whole unit cost me $15.00.

Remember when replacing that switch with other switches that the amps draw on many TMs are very high and can burn out a regular toggle switch very quickly.  You might want to think about switch operated HD relays if you want to do something else.
