I have my man closet. It's not big enough to be a cave  :'( But it is lined with peg board.

Recently in a revelation of thought, yes it did hurt when it hit me, but all my weights, hooks, and many other small products come in clam shell packages. Instead of piling a bunch of clam shells on one peg [sometimes taking two pegs because I have a habit of over stocking (Really I forget what I have when stuff goes on sale)]  Why not open a clam shell and pile as many as I can of the same product into one clam shell, this save shelf space.

Most clam shells have the company name and the product on a small piece of paper inside the clam shell that can be removed. Take the left over empty clam shells and store other things in them for your peg board :-*

Just making life easier :-*

Great tip mike. I do the same. Though usually more so w/ little plastic baggies that I put stuff in.

Now that I think about it. I really need another piece or two of board & more hangers...... Hmmm

I am thinking about taking some pegboard, cut into same sized pieces, and running a support lathe around the edges.  Then attaching hinges onto one side and mounting each onto 2x4s on a wall approx 6-8 inches apart.  This way, I can have several (well as many as I have room for) of these pegboards mounted like pages in a book that I can flip to the side and quickly see the stuff I have.  This would allow for having more stuff in the same space?  Just thinking up some ideas to create a better storage for my area.

 Hey Zam
Or - you can do like I did and take one whole side of the garage and mount peg boards along the wall.
My garage looks like an isle in Wal-Mart.
Have to warn you though , when you get company , you have to keep an eye on them or things might go missing -- [ think Jason or Bruce ]  LOL

Save some board space and use potato chip bag rack on the inside of the door.  This is a good place for those bagged items to be stored.  Frees up some valued space on the peg board.
