Spent the week of May 11th fishing at Pomme and Stockton and had the best luck I have ever had in numbers and size of bass down there.  Water temps were 66-68. Fish were on the points for the most part. I caught most of my fish on a 1.5 KVD square bill in a craw pattern and a weighted creature bait on bluff walls.  I did catch a few still on the beds, which is where I did catch a 4 pounder.  Spent Tuesday at Stockton which was the calmest day and had a real good day there as well, catching pretty much all of my fish on a 1.0 KVD square bill in "woops"y shad pattern. Made my reservation for the end of September before I left.  Love fishing in the fall.

Glad to hear you got on some fish down here. Pomme is an awesome lake, great for catching numbers with a good mix of larger fish. I have only fished Stockton once and got skunked. I know it has some good fish in it because I have seen them when scuba diving down there. Good luck in September and let us know how you do!
