Card Sound, the last bridge : A crazy amount of large mullet doing laps in a circle near the bank. Tons of small sardines. So baitfish was abundant. From time to time a large barracuda would come from under the bridge and try to hit a mullet or two that left the school. It was interesting to watch, but the cuda missed every time.
Saw two large sharks swim past the bridge.

Using shrimp I was getting constant bites, but the fish were to small and I was only able to hook a 7 inch mangrove snapper, and a baby grunt got himself hooked by the belly. I am happy to report that both fish were released into their watery habitat.

Islamorada: 0 fish. A few bites.    :'(

Thanks for the report Rick, sorry you didn't cooler any, but at least you didn't get skunked either.  It is always a nice day to see fish play.

I could have thrown my mullet sized bomber lure and probably would have caught the cuda but a monster fish with teeth like that would have shreded my 15lb braid most likely. Also from a bridge it would be hard to bring up. I had no interest in losing my big lure lol.
