4th Annual UB Rally

Well I hope you guys can get it together and make this happen ! I really enjoy hearing about UB members gathering for food , fellowship and fishing . As our Guntersville Rally proved you can't always catch the big Gurlz but the memories and friendships that are made are the most important thing at least to the Guys that made it to G'ville ! It don't hurt that Team Stranger won either lol.

If we do it the last weekend in February or the first weekend in March I can go... anytime after that and the family and I will be headed to St George Island for our first family vacation...

Lets try and get a head count and a set of dates quickly!

Yes if there is going to be a Rally the dates need to be done very quickly if you still want a chance to reserve a cabin. Mostly this time of year the cabins are taken very quickly.

Just because of all the things I have going on in Feb & March I doubt that I can make it no matter when it is, but would still like to see it happen and live my fishing life through you guys that attend.

Enjoy it guys and remember you only get to live once so enjoy the ride!

I'm open for any weekend at this point. The last weekend in February is good as is the first weekend in March.

All you working people and tournament fishermen need to chime in.

First week in March is now better for me as I have a business trip to Colorado the last week of February now...

Just update as soon as we get as close to a consensus as possible!!!

Checked with Baron about the fishing and cabins. There is an FLW tournament on West Toho in early March...cabins are booked solid the last week of February through the first weekend in March.

As far as fishing, hasn't been much going on. Weather has not been that great and they haven't been spending much time on the water. Think they have only managed a few small fish so far.

Also, Baron is playing a lot of music around the area. He is booked every Saturday night for the duration of his stay and starting in a week he will be booked every Sunday night at Boggy Creek.

It would appear so. Mauro you should get in on the bragging rights and get back to fishing. We have a yearly meet up (two day classic) and the people are very active. Its a good time for sure.

Guys, sorry your rally is in question. You can always hit Guntersville with Princeton_Jim or Bigwrench in Early October or you could trek up to Lake Norman on October 24th. We anticipate a big crowd with lots of prizes and great BBQ. We might just hit the 100 boat mark this year. This will be our 5th Rally, come and join us.

I am sorry the Rally did not materialize, and our Classic is awesome, I had a really good time meeting and getting knows the guys and gals.
