Check out these two crankbaits I just made! They turned out really well for being the first time I've ever made them. I used bass wood and I just carved then out. I bath tub tested them haha and they work amazing! Te second one I made I wanted to try something different so I used wood stain. It worked but it made it pretty deal so I put some added paint to it.

Those look really nice for a first try.   ~c~ Hope i can be as successful once I finally get going with it.

I am in the research phase of doing this myself. I got a few books and am starting to make a list of tools and supplies I will need. One thing none of the books mention is what to use to glue the bills into a wooden bait.  ~b~

Might sound like a dumb question, but what did you use?

Thanks.

To be honest with you I just used super glue. These are really just a test to see how well they turn out. I will probably use like 5 min epoxy next time. I put epoxy over the inside of the bill to seal it off. But didn't do a lot of it.
