Lake Hamilton Help

Asking for a little help.  My wife and I are renting a house in one of the coves on Lake Hamilton the end of July.  I am not taking my boat, but we are renting a pontoon and also, the house is right on the lake and we can fish off of the deck.  While we are there I would like for her to catch a few fish, but have never been on the lake(other than the duck boat tour), and have no idea what to throw, or where to go.  Any help would really be appreciated.  If you don't feel comfortable putting the info in plain sight, please feel free to send me a PM.
