March 2015 Florida Bragging Rights

I don't deal with weeds that much around here, mostly open water with underwater structure, so as long as I keep the bait off of the bottom, it usually doesn't see many hangups.  On incoming tide, the clams and Oysters, will catch baits a lot of times, and that can be a hassle.

I've used the cable tie thing and like it, but have so many of those little bands laying around that I try to use them up, I think they are multiplying. 

My problem is those little toothy fish, a 6 inch worm ends up being an uneven 1 inch worm pretty quickly.   

I used some of those hair rubberbands from the dollar store and they work pretty good too, sometimes you have to double them over because they are a little big, but they go on pretty easily with the tool, and are dirt cheap.

Had a great time last year, looking back and realizing I didn't post a fish in August for sure hurt my standings. But life gets busy! At least I did win one month!
