I'm not sure this is the right forum to post this in, but I just wanted to share the recent install. Got the  HDS 9T install on the bow and HDS 10 at the console. I appreciate everyone's assistance with my recent install questions.  ~beer~

Thanks Bigwrench. I can't take full credit for the console, but the bow was all me. Without that bracket, I'd had to Ram Mount it and I didn't want to do that.

You're going to love that 9, I still would have put it on the console personally but I fish differently I'm sure. The ability to navigate that machine like we do our Iphone's is amazing. I've had a 10 on the console as well and sure did love it too ~c~ ~c~

You shouldn't want for electronic data for a long time, very nice ~c~

I sure hope I don't want for anymore Mike. The wife reached her limit after I bought the 9T :). I'm taking it out to Cross Lake tomorrow for the first time after install. I would've loved to have put it at the console, but didn't want to shell out the extra $ for another LSS-2 ducer, for the trolling motor, to have DI on the bow. Hopefully, in the not-to-distant future, I can get another 9 or maybe a 12 for the console and hide it from the wife  ~shhh!

Cross is a great place to learn to use these units. Idle around the 220 bridge pylons, you'll find everything from tire rims to old boats and be able to clearly pick them out. Plus looking at the pylons will help you wrap your head around the view as it's quite different at first.

I didn't get to go to Cross Saturday. We drove down there around 0730-0800 and saw how choppy it was due to the wind. My dad said, "nope", so we went to Black Bayou Bossier. I was pretty upset I had trouble with the SS and couldn't get my DI to work on the bow. Thanks to fellow UBer's, I was able to determine the problem with both units. The dealer will have to fix the SS transducer issue. As anxious as I was to go to Cross, I still caught 4, 3 under and 1 slot. Oh well, maybe soon...

I have this very same unit and bracket on their way to my home right now. I can't wait to get mine here and installed.
Your set-up looks great. Have you had the chance to test it on the water yet?
