I usually fish Wehrspann and Wanahoo but I've been thinking about Cunningham. I know it's  been renovated but I haven't heard about it being much of a bass fishery. I haven't been there in years. Is there any visible cover to fish or maybe a drastic dropoff? When it comes to a bassy looking lakes, I don't know that we have much other than Walnut. Most lakes look like the typical coverless dish and the pressure makes a 2 or 3 fish day about all you can hope for. Standing Bear hasn't been a bass fishery for years that I'm aware of, although a 5 or 6 was caught a year or 2 ago. Zorinski's still a year or 2 away. (sigh!!) Anybody had any luck at Cunningham?

I have heard Cuningham is a well kept secret since it has been redone. I haven't fished it to confirm, but the source was pretty reliable. Give it a shot and give a report.

it's a big salad bowl.  bass can be hard to find. the mats they put down to stabilize the bottom can swallow a lot of lures...and then, when NGPC put in the pike, the bass that were there got a little more 'skittish'...

Thanks guys. Don't know that I'll venture to unknown waters. Might just stick with Wehrspann and Wanahoo. 2 weeks ago at Wanahoo I didn't move more than 25 yards and caught 60 largemouths. It was one of those rare momments that come back too infrequently. The boat smell so badly.
