Fished Wehrspann last night and the fishing was tough. Water temps were 72-74, cloudy skies with wind about 15-18 mph becoming calm after an hour on the water. The water clarity was about 1-2 feet, and the lake is full of water (as opposed to the beginning of the year.)

I fished mostly shoreline cover and had a tough time. I think the fact that I had 12 rods on my deck had something to do with it. I was changing approaches about every 5 casts ~b~. I caught a few dinks and one 2 pounder on a frog.

In retrospect: We had a small weather system come through just before I got on the water and that provided the stronger winds. When the winds went calm, that should have keyed me into changing my fast moving pace and maybe I should have gone to finesse presentation.

Anyway, the lake is looking real good now that it's full, their isn't an over abundance of weeds, but just enough to tease you into throwing a frog. Also very little pressure from boat traffic, but quite a few shore anglers.
