Got out again yesterday, Good day with another pretty good fish

Hit another Boxford Pond on Sunday with my buddy Matt. Started shallow again pitching wood with a Buggs jig on a Dobyns DX 744. No luck for a while so abandoned the shallow bite and headed out to where the water drops (very shallow pond) and were casting Chatterbaits and Lipless cranks from 5-6 feet into 2-4. Immediately started getting hit on nearly every cast, biggest bass went 4-1 on the red eye shad, with a couple 3's and 2's mixed in and a bunch of small bass and good sized pickerel. Highest temp we read was 48, most areas were about 47-47.5.
