Caney lake (Jonesboro) help

I plan on making a trip up to caney lake this weekend to fish for bass and crappie and I'm looking for a report or a little help with a couple of areas to start. If I had a couple of days to figure it out I wouldn't ask but will only be spending the day. I've been there twice years ago but it was during the summer . I'm new to this forum and thank you for your help in advance ....will post a report

be certain all is in order:..registration, fishing liscense, life jackets, fire extingusisher and noise maker are all required;////

I went out Friday and caught one in the slot on a bed.  Don't think to many was on beds yet.  Going back out tomorrow.  Our club has a tourney there Saturday that will probably have 40 to 50 boats.  Be prepared if fishing Saturday it's going to be packed. As far as where to fish, I would say the back of any of the creeks.

Taking grand kids to Caney next week anyone know if the brim are doing anything?

Caught 4 today, 1 over slot 3.94lbs and 3 under.  All on beds.  Saw a few nice ones around beds but couldn't get them to bite.
