Twas a beautiful day to be fishing NW Florida.  My motor had lower unit issues so we were given permission to launch from Howard Creek and fish via trolling motor all day.  Doing this in the intercoastal waterway is tough to do with the strong tidal flows present.  Upon turning down Howard Creek Rd - we witnessed an incredible sunrise.  Wish my phone camera was good enough to capture it because I'd post it here had it been.  Anyhow - we fished our way out of Howard Creek - had one blow up on a frog.  Hit the Brothers and my partner and I fished slow and methodical. We both went to worms - did I mention we fished SLOWWWWW.  Anyhow - we caught 9 of our ten.  Ended up with the win and big fish.  Had a great day with a partner willing to share his experiences from many years on the Apalachcola River.  Enjoyed it!!
