Just a reminder to all: Texas, Louisiana all Bass Cat owners spread the word on the upcoming Owner's Invitational coming to Sam Rayburn April 4th and 5th. The fishing should be spot on for lots to catch.  If you have never been to one of these events you are missing out on a great experience.   BassCat is hoping to get between 500 and 600 entries for the event/tournament.

I will be surprised if they don't get that number of entrants.  I've seen so many BassCats around the Toledo Bend area in the past year.....many more than I used to see.  Also, Rayburn is as well known as Toledo for being a great lake.  Yes, the wind could be an issue, but I believe there will be a lot of fish caught and some big ones will be in the mix.  McDonald's has their tournament in April each year.  Last year first place was a 10.83 and 2nd was a 10.24, which was actually a little surprising because I always expect it to take over 11 pounds to win on Rayburn.  It generally takes a 4 1/2-5 pounder just to get in the top 12 each hour.  That's a lot of fish over 4 pounds throughout 3 days.  It's going to be a great tournament.  This will be my first OI and I can't wait to look out and see all those BCB's waiting for takeoff.  That has to be an awesome site.

If you have never experienced a BassCat take off you are in for a treat.  You will never have seen so many lightening bolts charged ready to go.      BassCat does a great job getting everyone out smoothly and safely.  You first timers no worries lots of friendly folks to direct you.   Throughout the day you will see so many friendly fisherman that adds to the experience.  Alert:  Be on the look out while you travel to each of your fishing holes.   You may see a  floating rubber ducky with a Merc stamped on the bottom.  Not sure how they will do it this year but so many prizes and the gift bags from Strike King is very impressive.  The over all experience defines what owning a BassCat is all about.

Ya last Bass Champ tourny 3 fish 23.7 pounds with a 9 lb kicker!! Now thats a sack!!
