Ever thought about using a low gloss clear? Ive had GREAT luck with a matte finish lately . Even more then the shiny stuff!

My only advice would be to use a comb with wider teeth for your pattetn. But I'm still learner myself.

Not sure about for lures, but I bet you could use Hot Rodz flat clear coat.

thats what i was thinking KYmer ill do that.and ill see about the clear coat.Im trying to find a place to get some good blanks any ideas.most of the ones i got seem like there from china lol

I agree on the good blanks part. I "try" a few from each place I've ordered from to see the quality. Some are good. Others, garbage... Where have you gotten them from so far? I've had some luck with wlures.com. But those come direct from  China and have been hit or miss. The wiggle wart type baits I ordered through them don't swim well. But the vision 95s are awesome!

im getting mine from predator baits they seems like they are good tho i just didnt know if there may be a better place or not
