115hp 4stroke vs 150 efi 2 stroke both Mercs

Which is more efficient, the 4 stroke pinned doing max speed on 2004 bass tracker tournament v18 or the 150 doing about 50 mph cruising on a 2002 tracker avalanche 18dc?

Just wondering its the deciding factor of our new boat pretty much

If you go to Mercury's website they have test data for just about every motor on several different boats. It include fuel rate data at various RPMs.

I looked now I have a good idea but they didn't have the exact motor but I have a good basis of which is more efficient and their pretty darn close!

Definitely, then I started playin around lookin at all the motors, damn there are some really efficient engines out there now.
