SO is it fall yet??

i keep hearing on all the forums i cruze, saying fall is the best, countdown till fall, so I live in NC, to me i am still feeling summer, so when does fall get here. I mean when do i get the bounty of bass  8) lol I am looking foward to the shallow water bite. I have been fishing a couple times in the past week, It seems they are far away from downed tree i have bee fishing, so i assume they are still on offshore summer paterns

Everplace is different.  I fish on Pickwick in TN and if I recall properly the bit got really good in November...maybe late October.  It got to the point where I'd just ride past the mouth of coves and if I didn't see topwater action in the back of the cove then I didn't stop to fish it.  Can't wait for those days to return

Where are you at in NC? I just moved here, and I'm looking for some places to fish/somebody to fish with.

It is fall because FOOTBALL IS BACK, but only in some places. Sadly, it still reaches mid to high 90's here. It probably wont feel like fall or fish like it until mid-October/November.

Newton NC, bout 40 miles from Charolotte, i fish lake hickory, lookout, rhodhiss, and sometimes fish James and norman. he have a handful of nice lakes, just hard to get to some. just got a toon, or family did.  wow Novmeber, i was thinking fishing was way dead mid OCtober... this has been my second Hardcore year of bassin.. I still have much to learn.. thanks guys
