It looks great, good job on the install.
But, I am curious to know why you used the mounting bracket instead of bolting it direct to your boats transom?

I didn't want to drill 4 additional holes in the transom. I plan in taking the Talon with me to my next boat and I didn't want any potential buyers asking why there were 4 unused holes in the transom.

Took about 2 hours to install. 1.5 hours of that was scraping the old silicone off the transom.

Looks great! Just curious why you picked the port side of the boat to mount it on. Also where did you purchase it and was the bracker specifically for the tracker. Thanks

Not trying to answer for the man, but everything that I have seen from Min Kota suggest mounting on the port side of the boat, not sure if its for weight in case of fising alone?

Minn Kota recommends installing it on the port side due to the way the top of the Talon is constructed. It has a black plastic top cap that protudes off to one side.

This comes into play on larger motors when trimmed up. I placed mine on the port side to get more weight over on that side of the boat when I'm fishing alone. I could have placed it on either side with my motor and clearance would not have been an issue.

Next time you see a boat with two Talons and a 225 and up outboard, look at the starboard Talon....I bet you it is slightly tilted for more motor clearance.

Thanks for the info.The reason I was asking is because I have 3 battery's and a 3 bank charger on that side. Also was the bracket bass tracker specific?
