hello everyone. i have been trying my best to come up with a bluegill pattern. i have wasted alot of paint, and time trying to figure it out, they just dont come out looking as realistic as i want. i am a little limited on colors, but i know the ones i have will make some great looks, i can see it in my head but its not transfering to the bait. i think i just need another set of eyes. so please take a look and make any and all suggestions. also 2 things, yes i know there's too much yellow on the belly, and they are not top coated. the top and bottom stripes were through the fine side of a comb, the second was free hand, the third was through the big side of the comb

On top of the white base coat, do the same color of the stripes, with a little added purple as another coat, then do the stripes in darker brown.

Probably more of a burgandy than purple
