January 2011 meeting

This one was interesting. After meeting was called to order Jimmy asked if there was any old business. Discussions on rules were the topic of the old business. When it was all said and done we had decided that after 8 years of tweeking the rules it was time to lock them in. We had discussed the trailer rule and decide that the way it has been in the past is the way we were going to leave. The rules have been posted and these are the rules we will go by from here on out. The one clause we added is that if in the event someone seen a rule that needed top be changed or added they would be able to bring it up at the January meeting. The officers would then review the change or the add and decide if it is something that needs to be put out for a vote. Basically a rule change would have to be something serious. Once we got done with old business it was time to vote on dates and times for the January tournament. We also voted a date for the February tournament ( the times for this one will be voted in at the February meeting). The January tournament will be on Saturday the 29th from 6:30am to 3:30pm. The February will be on Saturday the 12th. After we voted on dates and times the meeting was adjurned and we grubbed down on some deer and pork.
