Get Some Bass

I want to know what are your opinions on the best lake/camping area in oklahoma? Been in OK all my life and only been to a few lakes. Looking for a place other than the city lakes to go fishing and camping pretty soon that is 1.not way out there, 2.great, nice camping area and 3.safe (not necessarily from wild animals but from other people that might be haters cause youre visiting their area or whatever reason). Lakes other than Overholser, Hefner, Cobb, Thunderbird, Canton.

thanks

i would have to say lake murray!! awesome views on the lake, great fishing and some nice clean campgrounds! being as it is a state park it is always kept nice.

In my opinion I would have to say Lake Okemah. It is well taken care of and has Florida bass. It is not large enough to need a GPS but has some very good fishing and NO jet skis.

I really like McKey Creek and Sardis. Both lakes are small and easy to cover in two days. Also they offer just about any cover you want to fish and good possibilities for 10lb plus fish. I like the small towns around the lakes and the fact that even on the weekends you don't have to dodge water skiers and jet skies.
