Who would you choose?

Ok.........We've got a nice handful of anglers whom have posted their resumes here - about a dozen or so.

Now - - - - - - -

Let's turn the tables for a minute.  Pretend you're a tackle manufacturer, reel manufacturer, rod manufacturer, or what have you.   After you view and review the resumes posted who would you choose for your pro staff?

I'm asking this question to let you in on a little secret so to speak.  Tackle company's get this many resumes daily and after a while they all start to look the same.  So if you've ever attempted to contact a tackle company of any sort before and haven't heard back from them, it's because they are buried with resumes that all pretty much look the same.

So the tip is ..........do something to make yourself different.  Do something that makes your resume get put on top of the pile.  Do something that says - not only will I promote your company but I will sell your product and this is precisely how I will do it.

When you take specific steps to help a company get what they want they'll find you, but when you look like just another rain drop in the down pour it makes things almost impossible for them and obviously you.

Hopefully this tip brought to you by my sponsor www.micromunchtackle.com will help you in your sponsorship ventures.

Fishforfree you are correct! They do look the same after a while and any time someone talks to us either email, phone or in public .Their first words are " I fish Tourneys and I win alot of them"!

Winning is great and it must show that the person stating it must be a good fisherman but they don't know how to sell themself which signals they may not be able to sell your product either.

Being different is what it's all about .Stand out! That's why our Pro Staff are dressed in Orange/Black. We want them to be noticed not just for our company's sake but also for their career sake as well.

Agree B&D!!!!!

I'd rather have someone leave out the amount of tourney's they've won or competed in, because that's in the past.......and I'd prefer to hear someone say - If I can't sell X amount of your products in the next month I'll give you money.

Even though I'm not looking for someone to give me money if they don't sell my product (I'm be facetious), I am more interested in HOW they will go about attempting to sell my product.  And when I refer to "MY" product, I'm actually referring to all sponsors in general.
