Good afternoon to everyone,

Wanted to provide an UPDATE on Dwayne.  His second surgery where they put the flap back over his brain and reattached his skull was successful.  They monitored him for a couple days afterward and released him from the hospital.

Gail and Dwayne will be returning to Texas here this Thursday afternoon     He still has to attend Speech Therapy Classes etc. down here in Central Texas.  This will be on going for a good period of time. 

Guys, I can't say THANK YOU enough for all the prayers.  Gail, Dwyane and I truly appreciated all of them.

You guys are the BEST and may the Almighty Above continue to Bless all of you and your families.

They are both home now....     We'll be getting with the regional doctors and clinics here in Central Texas to setup his continued rehab and speech therapy sessions.

Dale thanks buddy.  My mind is always somewhere Toledo Bend, Big Sam and even Ole Truman.  I was talking with Dwayne last night about doing a Road Trip later on this fall after his rehab schedule gets worked out. 

He's never been on Toledo Bend or Sam Rayburn.  Once back in the mid 90's on a stop in Clinton, MO. on our way down from Alaska that's where Marvin lived at. He took me and Dwayne over on Truman for an afternoon trip.

I got LOTS OF GREAT MEMORIES from my trips there with Marvin out of Bucksaw Marina.
