I use fluorocarbon for fishing buzzbaits. The line never touches the water. Anybody else?

I use 50# braid on  7' 6" rod.  Great for long casts and the fish generally hook themselves.
I knew I shoulda re-tied!!

Same here. A lot of the places I throw buzzbaits have a lot of cover just below the surface, if he gets it down before I can get him out, I need the braid advantage.

Flouro won't hurt you with a buzzbait or a plopper but I use braid for any topwater bait.

Ande monofilament here for anything top water.  The only thing I change is the pound test depending on what/where I'm tossing it.....

Usually 30# PP braid but also 15 # Flourocarbon sometimes depending on what reel I am using that day. Haven't noticed much difference in catch ratio but as I have gotten older I feel that using braid may make up for slower reaction time.
