This is just a small thing I found so hilarious. I was actually laughing so hard I grabbed the side of the boat to keep from falling. I had tears y'all!

Just a short while back, as I was getting Pop's boat ready for its first outing with me at the helm, his friends were all telling me "it's fast, be careful". I'd already googled the top speed, and according to some sources it should be around 50-55 bone stock. I'll come back to that...

My wife and I were kind of joking about it. We were looking at all the stickers Pop had put on it, and she pointed out, "Hey! It comes from the factory with FLAMES ON IT! You know that's good for at least an extra 20mph!"

Well, here's the factory "flames".

At a second look, this is clearly a wind whipped crawdad to me! Oh I laughed so hard I almost threw up.

On the top speed? The Lowrance said 60 and I backed off. It felt like it had plenty more to give, but I was more concerned with getting it safely back to the ramp before I was caught without paying the ramp fees, so I dropped it down to around 45 and made a big loop to head in.

Well this pic actually showcases the truck a bit more than the boat, we had to make a pit stop for a head call when we took it out last week. I was walking out of the store and I just thought they look sharp together.
