Howdy,

Tomorrow weather permitting the Stratos is going to get wet.  She's been sitting in storage for a year and half covered up.   Dwayne and I did some after storage prep work on her today.  He fixed one of the trailer lights and drained and refilled the lower unit.  I replaced both trolling motor batteries and the cranking battery.

We hooked up the water muffins and after a few minutes and some fresh gas the Yamaha 150 VMax came to life.  She ran a little rough at the start but once that fresh gas got to flowing into her she straighten right out.

I still need to grease the engine and lower unit fixings.  This won't take but a few minutes and that will happen in the morning.

Tomorrow will be the first time in a year and half that I was in it also being I was sick.  Right now I'm feeling pretty good and able to move around and not feel dizzy when bending over.

Hopefully the weather will be good and we'll be able to let the Yamaha Roar tomorrow  ;)

Good afternoon to everyone,

Guys thanks for the positive well wishes.  I appreciated them.

After a year and half of not being able to get out on the water.  The Stratos sitting in storage covered up. This morning at 10:30am we launched out of BLORA over on Belton Lake.

Back in the Saddle and it felt GREAT

It was a little challenging climbing in the boat but I made it.  This issue got taken care of when I got back home.  I ordered a Trick Step for the trailer.  It will be here next week  ;)

I couldn't run WOT due to the lake conditions.  The lake is flooded out over into the parking lots now.  There were lots of trees and other objects floating in the water.  She fired right up and idled out smoothly.  We eased up out of the hole shot and I ran her for a hour and half at 4500 rpms.

Cruising for me on this lake is between 4500 - 5500.  WOT is 63.5

Everything worked just like it's suppose to  ~shade   I got her back on the trailer first time also    ~c~   On the way home I stopped and topped her with 32gals of new gas.  We're ready for the next trip now.
