I've been sitting here waiting for a part for my Silverado since mid-October.  Brutal, but I'm glad it's not our peak fishing season right now.  The lifters went out and from what I've been hearing it's a common problem with the Silverado trucks.  The sad part is I only have 51,000 miles on it.  Taking my mind off things, I was able to have some time to piece together a video from this past summer on Lake Erie.  It was right after the BFL and other tournaments hammered a spot.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.  May your 2024 bring you many tight lines

Rick, that sux about the truck issue.  Tks for putting together this video.  I really enjoyed watching it.  Having never fished Erie just wondering what type of structure you were catching those fish from?  I notice you was off shore for the most part.

Also what action rod were you using when you were fishing that spoon?  Do you have more success with that single hook on the spoon verses a treble hook?

Lake is all structure when it comes to getting bites for the most part.  You have to look for scattered rock patches.  The beginning of that video is the exact bottom that you look for.  I dropped the underwater camera down on that fishing trip that is what you could see swimming around.  Whether is shoreline rip rap, offshore rock piles, or manmade structures on the lake.  Those bass are on them.  The gobies like to hide the cracks and crevices.  The bass roam around the structure picking them off.  The rod is an old loomis medium fast action Bronzeback rod.  6'9".
