Conditions:
Skies: Cloudy
Wind: NW 5-10
Temps: Low 70's
Water clarity: Crystal clear
Current: None
Water level: Up. Easy Access to Flats
Fishing time: 630-11:00
Bass boated: 2 :(

I'm posting this outing because I use these reports as my personal notes. ;)

Other than that, today's outing  was horrible. It was the worst fishing for me, at this  location.

The bass were just off. Conditions wise, you couldn't ask for better weather.

I threw frog, nothing. Spook, nothing. Trick worm, nothing. Speed worm, nothing. The swimbait was the only bait that worked for me, but I only  landed 2 bass out of 5 misses!! I'm not too happy about that. And the two bass that I caught were little 1.5 brs.

It was just one of those outings. The biggest excitement or scare rather, for the day, was that I came across a huge gator just feet from the boat. Scared the sh#t out of me. Lmao! We both saw each other and slowly moved out of each other's space. Whew!

Other than that, it was just a pretty, slow fishing day.

Side note: the water is up significantly. The flats are now easily accessible and the marsh bays are deep, clear, with plenty of healthy vegetation.

Thanks for reading. Sorry I couldn't provide you guys with any nice fish pics. :(

Hey, you win some, you lose some. Next time you'll have them practically jumping in your boat.

Thanks guys, and trust me, I know. You got to take the good, and learn from the bad. ;)

Thanks for the report Lou.  We have all been there on days like that.  The good news is a least it was not a guide trip with a paying customer.  You will knock them dead next time.
